a while back, my great-aunt gave this bottle of chanel n°5 cologne to my mother. yesterday my mom rediscovered the little glass of cognac colored liquid... and handed it down to me. eh, what, between the three of us we can't finish this little chanel n°5? haha

then i wondered why it says "cologne" instead of "parfum" ...? proceeded to upturn all my perfume bottles to see "eau de parfum" 4x and "eau de toilette" 2x. googled it and yes, there's a method to the madness: eau de cologne is 3-9% oil; toilette, 10-18%; parfum, 20-40%. mildly interesting!
